[movies]Super Mario Bros. Lost Levels (SNES) - Single-segment 0:17:25 as Luigi - Astra Piper - Astra 'StragenessDSS' Piper
Speed run of Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels in Super Mario All-Stars as Luigi done on October 25 2005. Available in three versions: low quality, normal quality, and 60 fps high quality. Author's comments: This run was done a while ago. It has a couple deaths, but I was getting tired of playing this game, so I stopped here. Someone else said they had a run which was faster, so I didn't send this one in....

[movies]Super Mario Bros. Lost Levels (SNES) - Single-segment 0:18:05 as Mario - Tom Votava - Tom 'rdrunner' Votava
Speed run of Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels in Super Mario All-Stars done during June 2004. Available in three versions: low quality, normal quality, and 60 fps high quality. Author's comments: Two words sum this run up for me: Zero Deaths. I'm not much of a speed guy when it comes to Mario games, but this game is so tough that I'm willing to bet that we won't see perfect runs through The Lost Levels anytime soon...

[movies]Super Mario Bros. 2 [jpn] (NES) - 08:30 Luigi (FDS version, emulated run) - Phil Côté and Jean-François Durocher (aka. Genisto)
This is a speedrun of the Japanese Super Mario Bros 2 (aka. Lost Levels), using a suboptimal punk called "Luigi". He jumps higher than Mario, but acts slower in many ways. However, the movie is in no way worse than the Mario version - some new creative solutions have been found. The left+right boost isn't working as well as the reverse jump boost(Pom's discovery in SMB1). At least, since it's pretty well played and show some great skill and glitches, it is supposed to pleased you eyes ;)...

[movies]Super Mario Bros. 2 [jpn] (NES) - 08:22 (FDS version, emulated run) - Joel Yliluoma (aka. Bisqwit)
It's again been a long time since the movies for this game were last improved. This movie is now 2.58 seconds faster than the previous version by the same author. This is the real Super Mario Bros 2. Yes, this game is real. It just wasn't released in the USA. It was later ported to SNES, and released as "Lost Levels".

[movies]Super Mario Bros. 2 [jpn] (NES) Version 7 - 08:22 (FDS version, emulated run) - Joel Yliluoma (aka. Bisqwit)
Another Super Mario Bros 2j movie! This time it features a completely different strategy. Mario grabs a mushroom and a flower! Lots of weird things happen. Be sure to watch carefully :) This movie is 0.86 seconds faster than the currently published version. Would be more (or maybe less), if the censorship principle wasn't there (see previous submission text). Bigger final score. Less waiting. More action...
